Temps de Vi

Temps de Vi is a cultural wine festival with a strong local identity and a growing audience. Over four consecutive editions, I led the visual direction—building a flexible brand system that stays recognizable while each year feels distinct.

Task

Lead the visual direction across four editions, creating a scalable identity system that balances consistency with yearly renewal.

Challenge

The main challenge was to maintain a clear and consistent identity over time without repeating ourselves. Each edition needed to feel fresh and distinct, while still being unmistakably “Temps de Vi” at first glance.

At the same time, the brand had to work across a wide range of channels—from large-format print and outdoor to social media, digital assets, and on-site event materials.

 

Objective

Build a coherent and flexible visual system that can evolve over time, allowing each edition to express its own personality while staying rooted in the same brand foundations.

Approach

Instead of redesigning the festival identity every year, I treated it as a living brand system. I defined stable foundations—typography, hierarchy, grid logic, and core visual cues—to anchor recognition, and then explored a new creative territory for each edition through color, composition, illustration/graphic elements, and key visuals.

This approach created continuity across years while giving every edition its own energy and character.

The result is a festival identity that feels consistent, recognizable, and alive—capable of evolving each year without losing its essence.

The long-term collaboration strengthened the brand’s clarity and presence across both physical and digital channels, helping the festival communicate with confidence while keeping every edition visually distinct.
